So it begins

I begin with an early 90's series Ibanez RG guitar. White in color with stock ibanez pick ups, 5-way pick up selector, Floyd Rose double locking tremolo, volume, and tone knobs. I paid about $300 for this intermediate RG. It served me well in my hardcore/prog metal heyday. Now I want it for a new, purpose. My guinea pig!!!!! I begin by removing the blue electrical tape I had covering the entire guitar(sorry no pre-tape pics available). Then I remove the pick ups, jack, tuners, and all other hardware. I keep the neck on as I am not really confident that the finished product will set right if I have to bolt the neck back on. I then remove the white lacquer paint with a Wagner heat gun and putty knife(metal) . Notice the burn marks. I will attempt to remove these ugly sombitches in the next attack
